DAY 1 (Monday)
It was a quick 2 hour bus ride to ipoh from hentian duta, I reached there at 1145, tried callin viv n her aunt a few times but not surprising enough they were still fast asleep. Hehe.. But I thought that viv was still havin her first driving lesson so I didn’t wanna call her too many times.
Luckily I saved her address into my phone long long time ago and I din delete it.. Hehe.. So I took a cab over and I made a new fwen d.. his name is Ravi.. The cab driver.. Hehe.. He speaks 5 diff languages.. Damn chun.. Hehe..
I stayed outside viv’s place for a long while, hehe.. I called jean for some help.. Then we called viv n then only she opened the door.. Hehe..
Her dad amazingly enough lent me his merc E280.. Whoah.. And he said.. It’s jz a car.. Wtf!! So I slowly backed it up, slowly turned, slow EVERYTHING!! Haha.. One scratch n il be cutting grass, washin dog , washin dishes and cleanin the house for the rest of my life man.. Haha.. Ok.. A bit exaggerated.. We drove out to fetch jean and had lunch with her at the stadium.. Jean n I ate wanton mee, while viv ate something else I hv no idea wat.. Hehe
Viv’s aunt woke up around 230 and I only got to say a few words wif her b4 she left for mahjong, and she didn’t come bk till past midnight. Haha.. Damn chun.. Her parents are still as hot as ever man. Hehe. They are so cute!! Hehe..
Viv was very tired apparently (from havin lunch I thnk.. Haha… juju shes always tired) so she slept, and while she slept, I walked the The Store and then walked to a nearby run-down super market and I saw a lot of old ppl playing this ‘saibu soccer’ machines.. Something like slot machines… they were everywhere!! So sad la… then I asked directions to ipoh parade and it was a 15 min walk there.. Phew.. Tired.. She called when I was there so I came bk n brought her out for dinner. Went to ipoh swimming club but rite after we sat down n ordered, the lights went out…………then I asked for a candle from the waiter and he brought one over ot the table.. Aww.. So romantic.. It was ALMOST a candle light dinner if there was actually a dinner.. Hahah..
So we went elsewhere for dinner and it was dirt cheap!! had long conversations wif viv.. Guess u can say tat we were catchin up on old times..hehe..

-jean- ‘you can’t get broke in Ipoh sam..’ is it true?? Hmm… viv thinks otherwise cz she says tat she is the first one to be broke in ipoh.. Haha..

DAY 2 (Tuesday)
The first night in viv’s guest room was kinda hard for me.. Heard a lot of funny noises the whole night. Hehe.. Theres a low trembling sound from outside, and I’m guessin tat tats the air-con machine, then theres the whirling n wooshing sound from above, tat wud be the fan, but there is a tapping sound coming from outside time to time.. This im not sure wat sound is tat.. Haha. I remembered viv telling me online once tat she was scared cz she heard noises coming from outside oso.. Hehe.. I wasn’t scared but rather curious.. Hehe..
I woke up around 10 and wanted to wake viv up but I didn’t cz im afraid tat she mite not like it so I troubled her maid again to open to door for me and I went for another walk to ipoh parade again and I went to starbucks and somehow I had a feeling tat viv is allergic to coffe but I still got her a cup of cappuccino.. Haih.. Shud hv listened to my intuitions… then I brought it bk for her but then found out tat she dun take it, but luckily I bought fruit juices for her and she liked it.. Hehe.. So not so bad..
When she FINALLY woke up, we went to watch click in Jusco.. Hehe..I am totally happy I made the decision to come down here.. Miss spending time wif her and looking for fwens here n making new fwens.. Hehe..
Came home after movies and had dinner wif her dad b4 he left for badminton wif his bunch of young hotties.. Haha..
We decided to go for supper but I wanted to look for a pub so she led the way to ipoh garden I think and we walked all over looking for one suitable one.. Hehe.. Finally found one and we sat down and chat more.. We ordered piniacolada( not sure how to spell) hehe.. She had a few BIG sips.. Hehe.. She wasn’t suppose to drink.. Cz scared of her parents scolding her… we talked bout our past , our feelings towards stuff.. And lots more.. Hehe..
Ok.. Now is the real supper, she brought me to a shop famous for their lou shu fan n chicken wings.. I hafta admit.. Its pretty damn good.. Haha..
Felt like havin more alcohol so I drank the one I bought from china.. Hehe .. 56% alcohol BaABbbYyYY!!

DAY 3 (Wednesday)
Was a very disappointing day today, haih.. Endless streaks of disappointments.. Firstly, we couldn’t make it to gua tempurung.. Super upset by this, then viv didn’t wake up for her driving lessons, I bought a cup of hot chocolate for her but when she drank it was already cold..hehe..
Fine!! So I’m not goin to gua today..nvm.. So after an hour plus for viv to get ready while I took a short nap and read my book, we finally made it out for lunch. it’s the same place we first went wif the other gang of ppl.. The curry mee shop.. Will remember tat forever.. I miss it.. It reminds me of the time when my life was happier.. *deep sigh*
After lunch we fetched jean n wei wei to go E-box n rite then I kinda lost my mood d.. cz I really wanna go gua!! Argh!!! And so I didn’t talk much.
Had a drop dead delicious dinner wif viv’s aunt at ‘indulgence’.. the ambience in that shop is outstanding!! They were looking at the ‘hot’ chef.. Haha.. Well. I was too.. Hehe.. The food is really satisfying..
Viv had a tiramisu and she told me the story bout the cake.. Was bout LOVE la.. Hehe..
Aunt n I talked a lot I hafta say.. Though she was speaking to me in canto most of the time but somehow und her.. Hehe.. She wud talk to me in canto n I wud reply her in either English or mandarin.. Haha.. Viv is so close wif her aunt!! So cute n loving together.. Had lots of laughs wif them.. Miss the,!!
After dinner I rushed to Ipoh Parade before it closes n I got my shoes tat iv been looking for for so long though it makes me look like a duck..haha.., n as some of u mite noe me, im a person tat likes to give surprises so I went a flower shop n got her some flowers.. A few daisies n a sunflower..
When I got bk, we suddenly felt like playin badminton so we played on her porch n we also cycled around.. Hehe.. Damn huge man her house..
At night we chat as usual n this time she came up wif a lame game.. We wud dare one another to lick stuff… ahaha.. She went first so she asked me to lick the cupboard, so I did it.. Haha.. Then it was my turn n I asked her to lick *aint gonna tell u wat* haha.. N she did it!! Amazingly.. Hehe.. So proud of her.. Guess she’s sporting after all.. Hahha.. I did some research for my pangkor trip tml..

DAY 4 (Thursday)
She came into my room around 4 n I was too deprived of sleep to react.. Haha.. She stayed up all nite so tat she can see me off the next day.. Haha.. So sweet.. And I originally planned to leave at 8 but ended up leavin at 945.. Before leavin I left the flowers tat I stashed away from her on her bed..
I called my friend Ravi to pick me up to the old bus terminal.. N I manage to catch the bus to Lumut at the last minute.. Haha.. Slept through out the 2 hours trip.. When I got there I felt so lost. Hhaa.. Then there was this malay auntie sitting there eatin n asked me if I need a place to

stay in Pangkor or not.. Hehe.. So I said yes n she stopped eatin n showed me the way to a small booth outside the stall where theres a guy working for a resort inside.. Interesting.. So I searched up the cheapest room.. Hehe.. I got it n I took the ferry over to pangkor.. The ferry is huge!! Haha..I saw a family of 3 tat is stayin in the same resort s me so I hitched a same cab wif them to the resort so I didn’t hafta pay so much but they ended up paying for everything.. Haha.. So sweet of them.. We chat a lot on our way to Teluk Nipah..relaxed a lil in my room (I prefer callin it a bed wif 4 walls…haha.. Cz tats how small it is) hehe.. At least they hv a fan inside..

This is wat backpacking is all about. Haha..I went n asked the locals if theres anything to do and they told me snorkeling is the best choice so I went to the beach n asked the boatman how much it wud cost n when they gave me a sum, I went bk to the family n asked them if they are interested because again , it wud be cheaper for me.. Haha..and so they agreed n we left soon after.. We took a short boat ride to Coral island where we are goin to snorkel..
Snorkeling was GREAT!! The water is so clear n there are so many fishes!! They are rite IN YOUR FACE!! Haha.. I saw parrot fish too!! Damn colorful man.. Haha.. After tat I did

something I seldom do, I went n lie on a huge piece of rock for some tan!! Haha.. I fell asleep there for half n hour or so n I woke up brown!! Haha.. I went swimming n I lost the gold ring my mom gave me!! Was so sad!! But my mom told me it was ok.. Haih.. I love her so much!! Muah!!
In the evening I walked around the small village wearing my china shirt ( really makes me feel like on a holiday.. Hehe ) I watched the sunset n took pics of it..very lovely.. Only wished tat I hv a gf wif me then. Hehe.. Then I looked for a place to sit down n hv dinner.. Saw the family again. Haha.. They must be thinking ‘ is he stalking us??’ haha..Traveling alone has is pros n cons..

PROS.. Room 2 yourself, walk around wearing ntg but ur undies.. Haha.. Well in my case, u cant really walk around the room.. Haha.. U can only walk on ur bed.. Haha.. Make new friends n freedom of course..
CONS.. Boring n feel lonely at times and hafta take pics of yourself yourself.. haha.. get it??

DAY 5 (FRIDAY)
Woke up early cz I slept real early last night n when I din reply viv’s msgs, she tot I was eaten by jellyfish.. Haha.. Not funny viv… went for a dip again before headin off.. I swam really far out to the sea.. Kinda scary feeling man.. Haha.. Keep thinking if u r gonna make it bk or not.. The rush is definitely there… the waves are big n its freaking deep!!

Took a shower, packed n checked out.. Met a Spanish couples n hitched a ride wif them to the jetty again.. Hehe… made new friends again.. N it was the same thing s when I got here.. First take a ferry bk to the port and then waited for the bus to come n before tat I had some time so I bought some junk food for my family..
This time the bus was packed so I had to sit wif other ppl which I dun mind.. Hehe..no culture shock k..
Made my way bk to viv’s house again n viv told us tat we are goin to see her mom.. I was delighted!! Hehe.. Finally!! Get to meet her!! BUT!! B4 tat I had to go the a salon for a hair cut because I had to attend a charity dinner wif viv tml I wanna look smart.. Hehe.. Went to a salonn had my hair cut by this guy called alex.. Hehe.. Its way shorter now.. haha
So around the evening, we went there n she is so cute la.. Omg.. Really hot too!! Hehe.. Theres a river right behind her house so I went ther to meet her friends tat are fishing there n I stood there n chat wif them for quite a long time as well while viv was teaching her sis to do ‘bina ayat’ haha.. I helped her answer the quiestionf for ‘lampu isyarat’ haha..viv’s sis is so adorable la.. Viv said tat im very lucky cz the sis normally dun talk or even look at strangers but she did to me.. Haha..joyful!! haha…Her mom n uncle brought us out for dinner at kosa mui restaurant for some Thai cuisine.. Again.. Magnificent food.. Though the oysters were smaller than those in Bukit Tambun.. Hehe.. But I still love the fresh taste.. I love the uncle’s suave voice man.. Haha.. The mom is so cool la.. She made me laugh so many times.. Hehe..
Suppose to bring the sis bk to viv’s house but viv jz remembered tat she has driving lesson the nx morning.. So she was quite sad bout it.. Both of them were.. But viv promised to make it up to her.. Wat a great sis viv is..
Got bk n watched a Korean drama wif viv..

DAY 6 (SATURDAY)
Woke viv up in the morning for her driving lesson n I fetched her to her venue n I went bk n slept bk immediately cz was sleep deprived.. Hehe..
She came bk n woke me up… then she told me bout her experience officially behind the wheels for the first time cz I taught her how to drive last time.. Hehe.. Come to think bout it it was quite funny.. Haha.. She said tat she was driving wif one hand.. Then *DddDuUusssSshhHhHh* I whacked her head.. Haha.. Then she continued and told me tat her instructor kept asking her to slow down then *DdDUuuuuSsSshhhhHHhh* again.. Haha. N scolded her.. Kinda proud actually.. Hehe..my prodigy.. Blek..
In the late afternoon we went to the venue where the charity dinner is to be held for briefing.. Whoah.. Damn lotsa hot guys there man.. Haha… n miss TAR is there too. Hehe.. Not really hot if u ask me… it’s the way she brings herself tat catches ppl’s eyes.. Attitude if definitely not there.. No offence!! Hehe…
After debriefing, we went bk home then there wasn’t much time to do anything else.. So I read my book again n had a really short nap.. Got up n got ready.. Tats it… it took viv a super long time to get ready cz her aunt was helping her put make-up n bla bla bla.. The normal girl routine.. Sigh.. We left the house the time we were suppose to get there.. Haha.. We had a quick free dinner b4 getting to work… I love the experience.. Volunteering to help out charity is wat iv always wanted to do.. Tat night I saw a part of viv I never seen before.. Made me think bout stuff.. Haha.. So many ppl asked us if im her bf or not.. Haha.. Ipoh ppl are so pat man.. Hehe.. No offence but its jz really cute.. Hehe.. If wanna ask oso shud ask behind my bk ma.. Hehe..
The cheer 2006 champions were there to strut their stuff n perak junior salsa team is there too.. Damn chun man the way the boy move his ass.. N dun get me started wif the girl’s ass.. Whoah!!! * droooll* n then there were break dancers… rockin up the stage!! But honestly.. Iv seen beta from malays..
Viv n I had to pack all the door gifts for the ppl n the other volunteers weren’t helping out man.. So pissed at them.. Wats worse, they were cam whoring!! Argh!! Tak blh tahan man.. So viv n I kept packing so many stuff for dozens of ppl one shot cz they were all making their way towards the exit d. n we had to do it fast n wif no help.. Haih.. It was fun, tiring, eye-opening, and felt really satisfied after that.. Haha..
By making up to viv’s sis, we went n picked her up from her care-taker’s house n brought her home..viv then showed me to her dear edrik.. Haha… damn la tat lil boy.. He kept smiling when he looks at me.. Haha.. Viv was so jealous.. Ngek ngek..

My day din end there k.. once we got home, viv’s dad decided to bring us out for supper.. Haha.. Lovely!! I was famished cause din really have a proper dinner.. Viv’s parents ordered lala, vege, mee, crabs, tian ji(frog) and they asked me anything else I want?? I looked at them stunned and said ‘huh?? Not enough ar??’ haha.. They laughed at me.. Haha..
Tat night , viv, her sis n I all slept on one bed.. Haha.. Damn cute man.. Her sis was like ‘ im not tired at all la..’ then I told viv ‘ give her 5 minutes and she’ll be fast asleep d’ then really!! Not even 5 minutes and she’s snoring away d.. haha.. We kept laughin at her.. Hehe.. So adorable la.. Haha.. Still can smile when I think bout it..

DAY 7 (SUNDAY)

Next day we went to Ipoh Swimming Club for a dip.. We brought along the china girl from her mom’s condo.. We had breakfast first before swimming.. We ordered he same thing we ordered tat day.. But lucky enuf, the food came this time round.. Haha.. I didn’t think tat they wud let me wear my quicksilver pants in so I din bother tryin.. But the china girl n viv’s sis went in though.. Kinda late d by the time they were done..
Tat night, again I had another spectacular dinner with her family.. They gave me a choice of goin bk to the bukit tambun seafood or try out steamboat.. Haha.. Of course I wud wanna try

something new.. N I chose the steamboat.. The layout of the restaurant is very different compared to those steamboats we have in KL..
Viv’s aunt kept feeding me non-stop!! Wuahaha…
After tat tummy filling dinner, her dad went off for badminton n so the rest of us went n picked up aunt jenny ( another hot ipoh aunt of viv’s.. I met her long time ago in KL when I was wif jean.. ) and went for a stroll.. Hehe.. We went to a night market but because it rained earlier, the night market had only 7 stalls or so.. Aunt jenny was looking for lok-lok but they din hv it there so we went to indulgence to tapau tiramisu cake b4 viv’s aunt sent us home.. And they went out again in search of their lok_lok.. Haha..

DAY 8 (MONDAY)
Iv been here for ONE FULL WEEK d.. n I still dun feel like leaving at all!! But my A-levels results forced me to go bk.. Haih.. Sad sad.. Went n got my bus tickets in the afternoon n I got the one set to leave at 700.. So at least I can hv a few more hours here.. Kinda sad when I got the tickets cz the person tat sold the ticket to me said tat tat was the last ticket.. N I was thinking.. How I wish tat I was late a few more minutes n someone else hv bought the tickets.. N I will hv no choice but to stay one more night.. But sigh.. I bought it in the end..
In the remaining few hours, we decided to go to my favourite hangout place.. IPOH PARADE!! Haha..jz walked around.. Window shopping.. And then went bk home.. Aunt wendy fetched me to the bus station.. Bitter goodbye… not sweet at all.. Haih..
